Dr. Marshall earned his medical degree from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago in 2000. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico, then two fellowships: one in arthroscopy and sports medicine and another in adult joint replacement. Dr. Marshall also has several years of research experience in complex knee injuries and training in muscle sparing, minimally invasive surgery.
Prior to becoming an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Marshall played professional soccer in the United States and France. He played on the Under 20 United States National team and captained the Yale Bulldogs soccer team in college. Dr. Marshall has been an orthopedic consultant for Alta Ski Clinic, Solitude Ski Clinic, Utah Grizzlies Hockey, Real Salt Lake (MLS), Copper Hills High School, and Nitro Circus (MTV). He currently serves as the Chair of Surgery for Jordan Valley Medical Center.
